Holy Cross Academy proudly celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day on 15th August 2026 with patriotic fervour and unity. The celebration began with flag hoisting, followed by inspiring speeches, vibrant cultural performances, and patriotic presentations. Students and staff of the Primary and Secondary section remembered the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and pledged to uphold the nation’s values, unity, and integrity while contributing towards a brighter India.
Our Pre-Primary children celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, joy and patriotic spirit. The Senior KG children participated in a beautiful Poem Competition on the theme “India of My Dreams”, confidently expressing their love and hopes for our nation. The Junior KG children made the Indian Tricolour using grains and lentils, turning a simple activity into a meaningful expression of patriotism and creativity. 🧡🤍💚
The Nursery children coloured the Tricolour with great excitement while learning about its colours and significance.
Through these joyful experiences, our little ones learnt that Independence Day is not only about celebrating freedom, but also about love, unity, respect and pride for our nation.🌟 Little hands, little voices, big patriotic hearts!Jai Hind! 🇮🇳
