A Joyous Celebration of Christmas Spirit at Holy Cross Academy Kurla
The campus of Holy Cross Academy, Kurla was transformed into a vibrant wonderland of cheer, colour, and celebration as the school hosted its much-awaited Christmas Fete, marking the joyful beginning of the festive season and the well-deserved Christmas holidays.
Organised with great enthusiasm and dedication by our PTA parents, the fete was a splendid example of teamwork and community spirit. The school premises buzzed with laughter, music, and excitement as students, parents, and teachers came together to celebrate the true essence of Christmas joy, sharing, and togetherness.
A delightful variety of stalls added charm and excitement to the event. From creative braids and hair buns to beautiful mehndi designs, from refreshing juice counters to mouth-watering pani puri, there was something to delight every visitor. Fun-filled game stalls such as golf putting, hoops, and darts kept the children thoroughly engaged, while energetic dance performances and interactive activities filled the air with infectious enthusiasm.
The fete was further honoured by the gracious presence of our respected dignitaries, our Principal Ms. Arlene Gomes, along with Father Barthol Machado and Father Christi Gonsalves. Their encouragement and warm interaction with students and parents added grace and significance to the celebration.
One of the highlights of the event was the Carol Singing Competition, which beautifully captured the spirit of Christmas through melody and harmony. The competition was keenly contested, and Crimson House emerged triumphant with an outstanding performance. Shamrock House secured the second position, while Azure House proudly claimed the third place. The carols filled the campus with peace, hope, and festive cheer, leaving the audience spellbound.
Overall, the Christmas Fete was a grand success, lively, well-organised, and filled with unforgettable moments. It not only provided a platform for joy and recreation but also strengthened the bond between the school and its parent community.
